6 DIY Facial Masks and Scrubs for Acne

Hey everybody, today I'm going to share with you some masks that I have heard about, tried, and loved! All of the recipes will be brief, since I'm going to have multiple recipies, but if you have any questions, comment below and I will answer them. I will also add more recipes once I find new ones that I love. Here they are!

Egg Whites and Yogurt Mask

Thing's You'll Need

  • Two eggs
  • Two Tablespoons of plain yogurt.
Recipe
  1. Seperate two egg whites from the rest of the egg and place the white of the egg in the bowl
  2. Add the plain yogurt to the eggs and mix. Never use flavored yogurt, as it contains sugar and other ingredients that may be more harmful to the condition of your skin then beneficial.
  3. Put this mixture on your face and wait for thirteen minutes.
  4. Wash off
Strawberry Mask For Oily Skin

Thing's You'll Need
  • 1/4 cup of strawberries
  • 1/4 cup of yogurt
Recipe
  1. Mash these two ingredients using a fork, or a blender. If you have a blender easily accesable, I suggest you use it, I used a fork since I was to lazy to get the blender, and my mask didn't end up completely smooth.
  2. Apply to your face and wait for 10-15 minutes
  3. Wash off
Oatmeal and Yogurt Mask

I've written a post about this mask here

Sugar and Citrus Scrub

  • Half of an orange
  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey
Recipe
  1. Squeeze half of an orange and put the juice in a bowl
  2. Add the sugar and honey and stir
  3. Apply the mixture to your face and scrub for about 2-3 minutes
  4. Wash off
Juice Mask For Oily Skin

Thing's You'll Need
  • 1/2 Cup Strawberries
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
Recipe
  1. Take off the stems of the strawberries and mash them with a fork or place them in the blender and blend them. Place the blended strawberries in the bowl
  2. Seperate the egg white from the yolk and add the egg white to the bowl with the strawberries
  3. Add the honey and lemon juice and mix
  4. Apply to your face and wait for 10 minutes
  5. Wash off
Honey Mask

  2. Thanks! I love DIY's and have always gotten good results out of them. Oh, except for using cinnamon in one of my masks, my face turned red since I guess my skin's allergic to it. But usually they work out really well and I also love making them!
