Cat Lady Outfit

Hey guys! When I went to the mall yesterday, as I was looking around Forever 21, I noticed this adorable cat print crop top, so of course I just HAD to get it. Later, when I was looking at the accessories, I found this insanely cute cat headband, and I knew it was destiny. A cat print top AND a kitten headband? It was just too good. Since I am completely obsessed with cats and own two beautiful cats currently, I ended up buying both, and I'm so glad I did. They're just too cute to pass up! When I got home, I put together an outfit including both of my cat lady purchases, and I think it goes really well with both. Also, I think this outfit would be so adorable for Halloween if you're more of a low key kind of gall, but I personally am totally going to rock this on a daily basis. Love it!

The print on this shirt...It's just so perfect! I mean, who can resist a shirt with tons of kittens on it? Definitely not the kind of girl who watches "Surprise Kitty"over and over again. Not that I do that.....No, I'm COMPLETELY normal. I was just, you know, guessing ;) That type of girl would probably stand in front of the mirror for ten minutes, admiring the adorable pattern until her friend who's waiting outside of the fitting room stall says " Hey Carrie! You ready to go yet?" Even if you aren't as crazy about cats, it would be hard not to fall in love with this shirt. I mean seriously, just look at it. Perfection in a crop top (which BTW, hits about the top of my jeans).

This is the cutest headband that I have ever seen. Seriously, isn't it adorable? These lovely cat ear headbands are very popular in Japan, and are also currently big in America. I can totally understand why, because who doesn't want to look like a bejeweled kitten? No one I tell you. This style of headband was also worn on Taylor Swift in her music video "22". Gotta love Tay. She also is a total cat lady, and has a beautiful cat, Meridith. I think that both Meridith and Taylor would totally approve of this headband:) It's pretty much the best thing ever. Pearls adorn the golden cat ear silhouette, and it's also suprisingly comfortable. If you want this headband but don't feel the urge to head out to Forever 21, check out this Cat Ears Headband DIY. Love!

I'm actually going to wear a pretty light emerald blazer that I bought from Target, but they don't have it anymore. This is fairly similar, except a little brighter. I wanted to pair this outfit with a green blazer to make the eyes of the kittens pop. Also, I think that the blazer tones down the look, making it more appropriate for everyday use. Plus, this jacket is now only $29.97, so you have no reason not to get it!

This is just your average pair of skinnies, but only $7.80! I think I'm gonna buy myself some of those right now! I chose a pair of dark skinny jeans because, well, 1. I practically live in skinny jeans, and 2. I wanted to keep the top the star of the show.

I'm sorry, I just had to do it. I know you're all probably thinking "Too much cat!", but the truth is, you can never have too much cat. Never ever. It's just not possible. That's why I couldn't resist the urge to include these Leopard Loafers in the outfit. Plus, they're $22.80, so they're affordable too! Yay!

Total Outfit Cost: $79.17
